Hello everyone,
Title says it all.
My game runs smooth as butter (locked at 58 fps) but every time i'm getting in a fight, it's going into sudden stop and goes. When it freezes, it looks like it's catching up to where i should be instead of resuming, which is leading to some pretty hairy catch ups. It jams on weapon draw, spell change, weapon change and blocks/general fighting but not at every occurence of these things. It's running flawless on loadings, interiors, exteriors, cell changes, scripted cutscenes and witnessing other peoples' fights.
Here is my load order (Step 2.2.9.2 based, followed everything by the book (mostly 2k textures) and sorted by LOOT, with a couple of things added in from GEMS) :
My hardware is the following :
Nvidia 970 GTX with latest drivers, Gybabie Micro ATX mother board, Intel i7 3.6 ghz processor, 16 gig of DDR RAM on a 250 gig SSD. All of this in a 650W power supply. My screen is an Asus 1080P 27 inch flat screen and it's plugged in the VGA port.
I've read that somewhere but i don't know if it's relevant or not : My PC is plugged in with the 5.1 sound system, the screen, one 1st gen Xbox, 1 Xbox 360, an Xbox one and an ethernet hub all in the same 110V wall outlet. When on Skyrim, only my screen, the sound system and the PC is on, the rest is shut off but still wired in. Could lack of power cause some issues like this ? (Although i suspect i would be all the time and with other games as well)
Also, note that i'm regularly cleaning my saves with SaveTool v2.06 (i always have nothing to clean in my save) and i've just attempted most of what is proposed here : http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/74427/?
I don't remember having that early in my game and since it's mostly combat related, i'm thinking UltimateCombat and TK Dodge could be culprits but you never know. I'm kinda stumped and i used to have 225 mods in a much less optimised Oblivion setup without an issue like this.
I've searched in many stuttering threads with the search engine and nothing quite like my situation has popped up.
Thanks for your time guys !
