Style or Productivity?

Combat Armor, reinforced Mk. II.

Fugliest armor I think I've ever seen, especially the helmets. Yet, here I am wearing it because it's the best available armor for my PC.

I'd really love to wear the Ranger Combat armor I uh... acquired, but I can't repair the helmet, and I don't like that it disguises me as the NCR.

Looks, always. Exaclty why i won't ever use the 9mm SMG, an Incinerator or a Plasma Rifle on the other hand, not to mention a fully modded Laser Rifle...

Another vote for first person, so definitely "productivity" as you say.

Style.

It's why I never touched a suit of Power Armor in FO3, and won't ever in this game. That stuff is fugly.

(Well, plus the fact that once I'm done with this first playthrough, I'm going to start grabbing mods, and most of the mods I tend to get are better hair/eyes/etc and fancy clothes. :) )

I keep a heavy/medium armor (metal or combat) for fighting, and a Reinforced leather armor for everything else. Any other clothing is repaired and sold for much monies.

I usually find that the stuff that protects you well is also pretty cool looking.

Only problem is, you are marked as NCR and that can be inconvient at times. You would think some armor would make it to the secondary market with it's insgnia removed so it's nuetral. Not everything the factions wear, but some of it at least.

With Reinforced Leather, 1st Recon Beret, and Authority Glasses I can do both B)

That's pretty much what I put on Boone and he looks pretty badass in a styling kind of way. It is what I am wearing so it is nice to know that I look good for the ladies on the strip and still feel protected. (someone's needs to make a Kevlar Business suit mod)

Style all the way. Here are my outfits:

Bounty Hunter Duster + Brown Ranger Hat + Authority Glasses = Outlaw

Blastermaster Raider armor + Legion Recruit Helmet + grenade rifle = Rebel

Bright Brotherhood Robes + Old Cowboy Hat + high tech weapons = Time Traveller

Great Khan Leather Armor + Slave Scarf/Bandana = what I wear when I'm in Khan mode.

The Slave Scarf also makes wearing Legion Armor look ok. Surprisingly. I play in both first and 3rd person.

I go for a mix, I consider dt and the armor effects, but I won't wear stuff that looks horrible either.

I like both. Power armor happens to be what I like to look at most and what I like to use for stats most, although I may prefer a slightly weaker version of power armor if it looks better (to me) than a stronger one.
