I plan on doing full combat or full stealth

Stealth with daggers and bow whenever possible... but not afraid to pull out a mace and shield when necessary.

My first char. will probably be like my others - mainly stealth, but with a hint of combat (although seriously considering mixing it up due to combat concerning mages).

I don't know yet. I did (mainly) a stealth character in Oblivion and a battlemage in Morrowind. I might go Nord with a big axe and bash stuff. Or not.

Edit: I guess it all depends on what appeals to me in the moment with regards to skyrim's combat mechanics. Need more information on that

Combat as usual. But I will try it all of course.

Mixture! My character is going to be an awesome H2H strictly Monk, besides using the bow and arrow. Restoration and Alteration will be the magicka I choose to use and It is always fun to be a thief and stealth gets one out of tough situations

My first playthrough is always a mix of stealth, and magic. I will eventually dabble in combat later on.

As she will be role-played as a nordic http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/V%C3%B6lva (shamanic type), my character will mostly use magic and alchemy.

The main weapons she will use will be a staff, or wand as is appropriate for her perceived role.

Other weapons may also include a dagger, for herb gathering/preparation, a bow, for hunting, and an axe. These weapons will be used for domestic as well as other activities. She probably will not be pure mage, as alchemy is now in the stealth school, and I really see her using alchemy in her role as a shaman type.

Armor will be assigned as is deemed appropriate for her role, and may include various cloths, leathers, and furs.

Some of her attire, whether cloth, or light armor will depend on what is available in the game,

As a result of this speculation, and perceived role for my character, my vote for the survey was for "mixed."

Hack and slashy washy, is making me tired of games atm, so a non combat stye would dearly be loved.
However getting a decent one of these that is believable is atm about as likely as my head getting nestled in an angels cheast of draws.

A mix of stealth and magic. And when the bosmer hits the fan, I'll whip out a longsword and possibly a shield.

I can't wait to try out a bow and go hunting.... DRAGONS! :hubbahubba:

Also the sneak attacks and the finishing kills.


BUT, I really want to try out the swords and just woop butt and watch the blood fly!

second time will be a mage
then a mix
i dont EVER do stealth unless its assassins creed

Mixture, but I'm mostly going to be going for a more stealthy approach but also ranged, like a hunter if you will. If somebody gets too close though (which will happen), I plan on upping my one handed weapon skill. Not sure what close combat weapons I will use though. I was thinking one handed axe or mace. Maybe dual wield an axe and a short sword... SO MANY POSSIBILITIES! After a playthough on that dude (probably a Nord just to stick with the theme), I think I will try my hands at a magic character... probably a female for once.
