I would like to know as well, I hope it is like old SW galaxies in that you can simply unlearn skills to make room for new ones.

You can respec. I don't know what level you have to be to do it, but apparently it's a matter of visiting a shrine and paying gold. I THINK the cost will be on a per skillpoint basis, so a few minor changes would be cheaper than remaking your char from the ground up, but I'm not sure about that.

If you respec, you still will have to level each skill back up though.

I think the skill levels stay, while the abilities are reset, and the skill points are refunded.

i guess no one can answer for sure but it would be stupid is skill levels reset. i am sure respec will mean you get points and attributes back and you can re-allocate them as you see fit. if you have not leveled a skill at all you wont be able to just instantly buy the skills.

yes your skill level stays, however you need to have used storm calling enough to have leveled up the skill before you can put many skill points into it.

And since BY using the storm calling line you'll gain access to NEW skill points, you could just as well keep your old ones the way they were and add new skill points to the new lines you want. Respec should not really be that necessary unless you simply will never use the skill points invested in, say, a weapon you will never use, or armor you will never use, etc.

As far as I know there is no reason why you cannot level both but it will mean you cannot spends the points you invest in the two mage skills elsewhere

This post outlines well how poorly people understand this game. "Subclass" makes it sound like there is some greater attribute than class. Class is the main determining factor.

All races can fill all roles as defined by that class.
