SubtitlesClosed Captioning for Holotapes

Dear Bethesda. Did you forget that you have customers who are hearing impaired? Back in Fallout 3 and in Fallout New Vegas I made the same complaint about certain things not being captioned. I miss most of what is being said on holotapes and there is no subtitles/captioning for them. Please rectify this, at least in a soon to be released patch, SUBTITLE your holotapes.

They are. Turn on General Subtitles, and you should get subtitles when listening to holotapes. The only catch is that you have to put your pip-boy down to get the subtitles to show up. Annoying, but it is a solution.

That's quite ... counter-intuitive. I had not listened to them through my pip boy ... I was using the terminals and popping ones I hadnt listened to into them ...

Well that's something. With no manual at all we have to discover these things for ourselves. I didn't know you could play a holotape from inventory with your pipboy. It's not exactly mentioned or obvious ...
