Hi guys, i have been playing Fallout 3 with quite a few mods for around 25 hours now, and suddenly the game has started freezing with the sound still running in the background.

I recently upgraded GPU's from a 5850 to a 6950. After doing this, i played for around 3 hours with no problems but then it started to do it, so i made sure my new gpu's drivers were up to date and deleted the old ones. Then the freezes stopped. Nw around 5 hours later in to the game, they have started again. I load up a savegame and it will freeze usually s soon as i move the mouse.

it is very frustrating for this to start happening in a game which has been running very well so far, and i have gotten so far in.

Does anyone have any idea why this has started happening?

Just remembered, the other thing that i did just before it started happening was change the timescale through the console to 5. Could this have done something, or possibly be incompatible with a mod or something?
