Suggestion! Clothier perk.

Hello there, fellow wastelander!
Is direct combat not really your thing? Do you realize the potential benefits of talking, rather than fighting your way out of certain situations?
Prefer a pretty dress or charming tuxedo over your raider armour? Found yourself frustrated with the limited variety of clothing as opposed to all the armour out there?
Maybe that three piece tux would really have been much better in, say, a flashy bright green? Don't fret anymore, for to you I present the following idea:
The clothier perk: Allows you to create your own clothing out of scrapped leather, cloth and possibly certain metals.
Considering some people love to play using cunning, persuasion and deceit, talking their way through most missions rather than fighting,
it would only make sense if those people also got something to suit their playstyle among the wide selection of craftables.
How it works: first, you get to create the top. You get to choose between cloth or leather, cloth should have patterns and more colors, leather perhaps several brown tints mostly.
Maybe at higher tiers, you even get to blend both fabrics, to, for example, create a cloth top and a leather vest on top of it.
No custom prints, just a list of colors and patterns. Some effects, such as buttons, zippers or laces could have additional material requirements.
As the top is finished, you move on to the legs. Want some shorts for those hot wasteland days? Sturdy enforced leather pants? Bring out your inner Scotsman with a badass manskirt, or kilt?
Pretty ladies (or gents, no judgement) wanting some leg underneath a short skirt or daisy dukes? It's all possible. Go for tough, sixy, decayed or chique.
You also get to choose between a few basic shoe designs in a few different colours.
When the result is satisfying, you name and create the item.
Now it just needs that final touch. Which is to say, a stat boost.
We're talking clothing here, so don't go expecting damage resistance, armour takes care of that need.
What you do get, is a choice of a few different stats: charisma and intelligence, but perhaps also sneak and better dialogue chances.
Again, a higher tiered clothier might be able to apply a better stat bonus, with perhaps the final tier allowing you to apply two stats on the same clothing piece.
Now your personal outfit is created. May it serve you well while guiding the minds of those weak minded people to your favour.

think from a common sense/wanting to survive standpoint, What IDIOT would ever not wear armor while traveling in the wasteland. You would have to have zero common sense to not wear armor of somekind.

Granted. However, there's plenty to explore in the various settlements, too. Again, different play styles, different needs, right? That's the beauty of Fallout.

Great idea. If just so I could mass produce uniforms for my settlers.

But one of many options such a perk would give. With Fallout being intended to allow several play styles, much emphasis has been laid on combat-centered playing in Fallout 4.

This would surely enhance the versatility in this game.
