Suggestion for new Survival

Post » Sun Feb 28, 2016 3:10 am

Posted this in the discussion thread, but it got buried. So i'll make my own post.

What if power armour required training to work effectively? Lets just say the first mission introduces you to the armour, but you don't gain any bonuses from it like more carry weight and stronger melee because you have no formal training with it.

Only once you learn from a reliable source do you gain the awesome powers of, well, power armour.

What do you think?

I'm so glad that training bs is gone. It was a pain in NV with all the bugs and never made sense anyways, the military designs everything to be idiot proof.

I understand Bethesdas choice for "woo yeah power armor" for FO:4, but some of us liked how in the lore it is said that a soldier needs training to understand how to efficiently run power armour.

But I suppose that a layer and wife to an ex-soldier would know exactly how to use power armour and I can also suppose that they were so easy to use that even a light breeze could operate this advanced mechanical suit...
