Yeah I might be the only one but I miss the ammo packs from fallout 3, they made you feel more like a bad ass while using heavy weapons. Though I can understand why they where removed. (power armor complicated things is my guess).
That said I really wish tehy where back, and have an idea for how tehy would be implemented.
my suggestion is simple add, 2 weapon mods and 2 power armor torso mods.
the torso mods
5mm ammo pack
info: allows storage of upto 5000 rounds of 5mm ammo on the power armor.
effect: allows power armor to be used to store 5mm ammo.
fuel pack
info: a large gas/oil storage pack orgininally designed to hold flamer fuel
effect: stores upto 2,000 flamer fuel, drains flamer fuel from it when sprinting instead of fusion cores and AP.
weapon mods
minigun
belt feed: removes internal ammo, but allows use of 5mm ammo packs on power armor. (basically turns you from 500 max ammo to 5,000)
flamer
fuel tube: removes internal ammo, but allows fuel pack usage from power armor.
reloading note: weapons using power armor stored ammo, must be manually reloaded at a power armor work bench. (the trade off for having a large amount of ammo with out reloading)
