Suggestion: Use of owned property.

Yeah I hit upon this idea and figured I'd throw it out here for people and devs to see.

Basically, the idea is for the player to be allowed to rent out his houses/homesteads to people and be able to collect a sum of profit off of each place every week or so.

Player have the power to evict the tenants at any time if he/she wishes to move back into the house.

That's what I was thinking. And no I don't that's a good idea. The only reason to do that would be to make money and there are more ways to make money in TES than Fable.

The point is, you can have like seven houses in Skyrim and you really only need one to live in. So why not be able to get some profit out of the investment?

Why not just buy one house? Just because you have the option to do something doesn't mean you should.

Because you could be nomadic? I constantly move between houses so renting them out is out of the question plus your spouse opens up a store if you have them move into a house you own.

I would think since the player has to accomplish specific tasks in order to obtain the right to own property, the Jarls would be very much against someone living in or on that property that hasn't achieved similar tasks to prove themselves worthy of the privelage.
