Suggestions to crytek

Dear Crytek.

Suggestions for this site:
1. Add an image resizing script. It's very annoying for me to have to scroll left and right to see a large image that's been posted. It's probably worse for people who have monitors that are low resolution. It's not hard to make this script and if the designers need help, I would be willing to supply some code and/or explanation of how to write it.

2. I'd prefer if the forum was centered and/or fluid. It's sized so that it would look centered on a small 1024x768 screen, but on a 1680x1050 screen it looks pretty small and it's not centered at all.

Suggestions for creators of promotional content:
If you're having trouble doing something in the sandbox editor, or there's a general issue with it that you don't know how to fix, ask someone who knows how to fix it, or talk to someone in charge of updating the code for the editor itself. Releasing promotional content with obvious mistakes (i.e. guns are missing clips) makes it look like you don't know what you're doing, and it makes me worried about how many execution mistakes will be in the the actual game, something that I already don't have the highest expectations for.

Thanks for your time.

P.s. hopefully this is a more "acceptable" tone in the opinion of admins?

These ideas, seem feasible enough and should be addressed soon . :)

Hi Bananasplit,

Thanks for the suggestions :)

With regards to the image resizer, that's something definitely on the "to-do" list. We've got a tonne of features planned for the site that's still in the works and will be implemented as soon as possible.

On the point of centring the forum page, whilst that's a future possibility, i'm not sure that it's planned for at the moment. I'm on 1920x1200 res and i don't find it that bad. I'll see if there's any info available on this and will update if/when i get any info.

In regards to your last point about the promo shots, there really is no need for concern. An unfortunate oversight when the images were taken, i'm not sure of the cause but i can assure you it's not because Crytek doesn't know how to use Sandbox.

There were 4 promo shots released at the same time, the other two have the ammo clips present:

We will certainly endeavour to make sure that all future promo shots are without fault :)

Cheers.
