Hello,
Based on the Review by PC Gamer I hav a few suggestions to Zenimax to make this already amazing looking game even better.
Review I am basing suggestions off of: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O9E_V24RuCc
1) To enhance the realism of the world . . . Fill it with more stuff. From the review ESO looks like a giant world, but I don't get the feeling that it has enough stuff in it.
Ex) during the review at 5 min 30 sec, the reviewers bring up the issue of stagnant resource animations that have a stiff feel. Seems to me this issue could be fixed by including more bugs/ butterflys /critters with more random movements and larger areas for them to wander and more interesting component drops.
2) Another big thing that could be made better is what the reviewers described as linear quest lines. I think that this could be fixed by throwing in more caves, more forest clearings, more bandit camps, whatever you want to call these zones (maybe monster nodes) in which the areas are not tied directly to quests but seem more of an unexpected place that has been discovered and would contain maybe a chest or two of cool loot, or maybe hidden things in a small bandit camp that. Also lets say these areas are designed with at least 10 mobs in close proximity to each other so that if you attack 5 of them swarm you and then the other 5 join in eventually, this would encourage people to join groups in order to conquer these minor challenges. It would encourage dialogue between players and a sense of accomplishment. After you clear out such an area it would be cool if all the characters that participated found a clue that would lead to a quest that would be marked on your map, but maybe not the actual start of a quest itself.
3) Just some general comments: These reviewers really want this game to succeed they are huge elder scrolls fans and they are right about the challanges that ESO will have to ensnare both crowds off TES and MMO players. Its a great opportunity for a new and exciting game and I just want to give suggestions so that the game is successful and goes in the right direction, whatever that direction maybe
I highly encourage people to make positive posts based on the PC Gamer review so that Zenimax Developers will see and listen to community feedback and make the game even better. Thank you for your time.
