Suicide-Lydia :)

Dear Bethesda,

First of all i want to thank you all for this wonderful game. I think with Skyrim you created one of the best RPGs ever made! There's only one thing i am a little bit worried about: my companion Lydia seems to have a suicide tendency. For example one of the things she loves to do is running over a trap, as a result of this being hit by nails, doors with nails or fire, standing up and running again into the same trap! Now the really strange thing about her is that repeating this procedure over and over again doesn't seem to get boring for Lydia. Ah yes... and she also likes to trigger traps that hit me instead of her. Don't know why she sometimes hates me so much, because i really do care for her. :)

Yours,
Logan Northstorm

PS: Sorry for bad english, it's not my native language.

I killed all of my companions once they started following me. I'm riding solo [censored]es. Took them out in the woods, and put a arrow in their head. Took their gold and lol'd.

Why are you worried she wants to kill herself?
I would give anything to come home and see her hanging from the rafters.

She's moving towards you. If you hug the walls and stay close to her, she won't run into any traps.

I have to agree, altho you can choose to leave them in the house, there is somthin more manly bout taking your female followers into the woods and murdering them before they start nagging about keeping your potions tidy in the lab...

I'll try this, but it doesn't work all the time. Yesterday i really had a serious problem with her: she triggered a button on the floor that closed a door. Now Lydia was trapped on the other side of the door and always - when the door opened - she again triggered the button.

I found that she likes to walk in front of me when I am trying to carefully aim at an enemy very far away. Maybe the houecarl life is not for her and she wants to end it all. I had to buy a Healing Hands spell to patch her up.
