Actually moving him will be a bit more than I want to take on. I would just emable one mod at a time.

Regarding The Vampire Hunter update:

I got the following done:

- Atmospheric sayings and flirts are fixed so that romance based sayings will NOT happen if playing him as a friend and only happen if playing him as a romance interest.

- Removed the Book from the player and give it to Stoker when found.

- When Stoker says the Book of Loth is missing it is removed from his inventory.

- When the player returns the sword after dealing with Stoker's dad, she will take the sword and the new sword has better enchancments.


Still need to do:

- If the player is playing as a friend there will be added friend based sayings.

- Better quest logs.

I may still explore moving him out of Bruma Castle dungeon.

There's also a small patch to Viconia Part III coming this weekend, maybe tonight. Someone found a bug in the conversation between Viconia and Valas that completely breaks it if the player is female. This may explain a lot of the issues I've seen in this part. MUST be fixed.

Version 2.4 of Viconia DeVir - Return to the Underdark, The Underdark Saga Part III posted. This fixes the conversation between Viconia and Valas when they meet again upon returning from the Underdark, particularly if the player is FEMALE, It's an esp only update.

The Underdark Saga Part IV is beginning it's writing stage. This will be mostly done by Old Book with my assistance. It won't take away from my current duties.

I've managed to merge both Viconia mods into one mod. It's taken a LOT of work but I did it one day. I have to handle the transition somehow between Banished and Return to the Underdark. Not sure how I'm going to approach that yet but I need to retest the first part and make sure that all still works.

An update is coming for Viconia - The Underdark Saga Part One - Banished. This will be retitled to simply Viconia DeVir, Drow Companion and be available as a stand alone mod. I'm adding a path if you want to simply be friends with her.

So there will be two versions.

1. Viconia DeVir (what is now chapter/part one) This will be the coming update. This is stand alone for those that don't want to deal with the Underdark but they'll miss out on a lot.
2. The Underdark Saga. This will contain The Underdark Saga Parts I, II, III and IV. This is the merge I'm currently working on.

Part II the Vampire Hunter is going to have to modified a bit to deal with this merge. TVH will now also become a stand-alone mod.

Rather complicated but everyone will be happy I think.

The merge has been painful. I've had to edit the editorIDs of TONS of objects in both mods. I'm still reconciling but it's getting closer.

And then there's renaming ALL the voice files. Thank GOD for DOS.

Really appreciate you doing something like this. I was getting confused over all the parts and which one to do first (yes, I'm kinda a simple sort of guy : ). So, this will be great having them all merged.

I've watched you work on this for quite some time. So, take all the time you need and I'll enjoy it when you're done. As I'm sure a lot of others will also.

It is a bit confusing. I wanted the mods to center around the Underdark (because I am doing quest development for it). I think it will play out like this.

TVH (part II currently) will stand alone and be simply The Vampire Hunter and feature the Underdark.

Viconia DeVir Drow Companion will stand completely alone by itself with friend and lover threads. That's almost done.

The Underdark Saga will be the full kit all the way through. The issue with Part II and it's incorporation is that it was not intended for Viconia to go through the Underdark during this time in the Underdark's history. During this time Viconia DeVir is essentially a criminal to be killed on sight by any Drow, certainly by anyone of House Baenre, which Part II focuses upon. I will have to modify it so that Viconia refuses to enter House Baenre and perhaps refuses to enter the Underdark at all during those sub-quests in Part II. Thus some of the intro to Part III may have to be modified.

In the complete merge what is now Part/Chapter One will be completely voiced by Greenwarden. At least that's the plan last I heard from her. We need to schedule it.

Oh yes, I am still into it. I've just not had much time to figure out how I'm actually going to schedule the recording between work and everything else. I wanted to get back to you when I had a firmer idea of what kind of per-week time commitment I could make.

The first Viconia update is coming along. I'm in test mode right now to make sure the friend thread doesn't mess anything up. The merge is on hold. I'm going to wait until the part one update is finished and then redo it.

I was in Vindasel, she appeared and went after several slimes, and kept tripping the gas trap there. I then defeated Lolth, and got the quest update regarding the note on the handmaiden. There is no note in the Handmaiden's inventory, though. Was the note in question added to my inventory? If so, what is it named?

Crap, I didn't think of that. What's more it shouldn't have been triggered unless the player is outside. One more thing to look at.

Never mind the note. That was something I had intended to put in at the time and never did. I think you may not have the latest update. Check for a Part One update.

As for the handmaiden, try going back to your last auto save. Load it. Stay outside. Wait for a few hours and everything should go as planned.

The Vampire Hunter is now up to Version 0.7. Fixes:

- Flirts now change over sooner (Now at stage 55 vs 135).


An update to the original Viconia is coming as soon as it's fully tested. Testers welcome. Fixes to that:

- All conversation endings now have the goodbye flag checked.

- A play as friend thread has been added. Be careful with your responses or you will now lose the romance. You regain it in later stages though.

- Additional quest logs and a cleanup of old ones.

The latest patch for original Viconia mod is very close to being released. I've tested through most of it and am going to make one more pass through the friend thread and then the romance thread to make sure everything is correct. Once that's done I can release it. That will bring the version up to 2.5.

The patch for the original Viconia mod is done except for two things.

- quest logs update

- WhoGuru is kindly revoicing Lolth (she voices Lolth in TUS Part 3)

At some later point when Greenwarden has the time we will be redoing Viconia's lines entirely. I'm looking VERY forward to it.

I'm adding another thing to the patch. When Viconia gets hit her response will be random now. Same with her attack dialog topics.

She will respond to other NPCs now. The dialog will be pretty funny. I have to use existing lines but when Greenwarden redoes the voicing for it I will add much more. She won't talk as much as Vilja does but the immersion will be better.

I'll be redoing all the quest logs tonight.
