Oh sorry I forgot to put my "à" in there. I'm French. ;)

Could also translate to "like in". It's another of our expressions used sometimes in the English language. :P

LIAR, you are from Quebec, you are not French you are a no-good-Canadian! and the only reason you have that 'a' is because they speak French in Quebec!

I don't know of any RPG before it that used Khajitts or Argonians.

Or had a world of that size and scope. Or that treated fatigue the way Arena does.

Or changing seasons or even a calendar with holidays, like in Arena.

And wasn't it the first one to use first-person, real-time combat?

Plenty of cat and lizard races, bigger worlds, changing seasons and calandars with holidays in PnP

Changing the medium doesn't mean old ideas become original again and originality doesn't matter as far as game mechanics are concerned, just how well they work

Originality is practically impossible. Something is always inspired by something else.

Pretty much everything in any RPG, in any format, is based on Earth mythology, which, in turn, is often inspired by real life things. Dwarves, Elves, Gnomes, Dragons, Vampires etc.

Dude, while I agree that Oblivion isn't as good as Morrowind, it's not a crappy game by any means.

Arena- ???/First/Free
Dagerfall- Huge/Free/Hard
Morrowind- Awesome/Awesome-if-I-could-still-play-it (the installation keeps failing on any computer past windows vista, saying that it cannot find the sound files at about 30% in...)
Oblivion- Fun/Relaxing/Simple (Played Morrowind and Oblivion for the first time within a few months so I did have a fairly unbiast view of it and they were my first ever Western-RPGs)
ES5- Cold (It is in Skyrim after all...)/Awesome?/Vapourware? (as they said with Duke Nukem Forever; 'It'll be done when it is done'. Turns out for that game it is also the same time of the death of the universe)

Dude, while I agree that Oblivion isn't as good as Morrowind, it's not a crappy game by any means.

This. Oblivion is severely underrated on these forums. It wasn't perfect, but it was still a brilliant game.

She's right in this case though, because I was using Argonian's as an example of Arena's originality.

I never played the tabletop RPG's so I wouldn't know about them.

Haven't played any of them but Oblivion yet, so I'm kinda limited (though I could do Fallout 3 . . .)

Oblivion: Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

Sounds like Arena would be: Advanced CT Syndrome
