Summer shorts?

Anyone find where you can find some? I've been looking to use ballistic weave with it and have leg and arm and hat armor.

I think I found one in suitcase in Skylanes flight 1981 location. There are a lot of clothes there, they are random and they respawn very often, so you can get a really good collection. You also can buy clothes from your settlers if you build them a clothing store ( It`s also random, but buying from them makes them update their selection and you can collect all kinds this way ). Note that not all clothes work with armor pieces. I think that summer shorts don`t work with it ( not 100% sure though)

There's always a pair in one of the shops at the General Atomics Galleria.

I usually find them at the Skylanes near Tenpines as well if you want them free. Just got to pick the locks to the suitcases and its usually in one of them, plus the place respawns so you can technically get a bunch for all your settlers too.

I just picked up some from a suitcase on a bus out near Greentop Nursery. I often find them in suitcases. Not all the time, just sometimes, usually when I'm not looking for them :)

Fallon's Basemant in Diamond City is also a good address for casual clothes.

I heard summer shorts allow you to have arm and leg armor.

It`s possible. I really don`t remember and can`t check it now. But I`ve just remembered that there was an abandoned clothing shop in Salem ( location not far from the museum of Witchcraft).

They are random. No fixed locations. And they come in spurts. Sometimes none and sometimes three.

You can wear arm and leg armor with the shorts. They look too funny to me on a male however. I like shorts, so I used the street urchin clothes, made wearable by a mod, to create better shorts. And with it you can even wear briast armor. ;)

They do look awful on a guy. I'd skip the armor and just wear a battered fedora with Mk5 Ballistic Weave. You'll have 220/220/0 damage resistance.

I will confirm that arm and leg pieces can be worn with the Summer Shorts. However, chest pieces cannot.

Yes, that is correct. There have been many times I have forgotten to switch back to full armor after bartering and then going into combat. At least with summer shorts the arm and leg armor pieces will still be worn.

There's also a ... uh ... a certain somebody you can assign to a level 3 clothing shop that tries to sell 'em to me often.

Yes. It's possible to wear leg armors and a hat.

I own it.

omg I still can't find them!! I check every vendor and installed like 4 clothing vendors in my different settlements. I just want to wear some breezy summer shorts as I casually kill legendary deathclaws.

Try the high school just south of Trinity Tower. That's where I first found 'em. If this was in the spoiler section, I could tell you where to go to get a person that sells 'em.
