Summerset Isle Fashion : The Elder Scrolls Series Discussion

With skyrim having the thalmor clothes, from what i know thats the closest thing we have had that is somewhat of a summerset isle clothing.
Do you think every outfit in the Summerset Isle looks like that looking extravagant with designs and looking very fantasyish? (well maybe not the begger clothes, but nobles?)

I get the idea that Bethesda's designers don't have much costume knowledge, because their designs are uninspiring. There certainly would seem to be room for you to envision whatever you can cook up. If it's good enough, they'll even make something that looks exactly like it for the next game and fail to mention the source.

As I recall from the pocket guide, they liked wearing uniforms. Since they have a caste system, I'd assume you should be able to tell someone's place by looking at them. I think it was something like Priests on top, followed by government officials, warriors, merchants, then laborers.

I imagine they import all their homeless and criminals to Cyrodil so that the Thalmor would look good while the Empire would look [censored] in comparision.

I think the elven clothing (thalmor and psijjic are among the coolest in the game, gives that fantasy feel.) I personally imagine the standard clothing to be simple robes akin to LOTR while the higher ups, priests, mages and leaders have more elaborate clothing and details.

They are the epicenter of all civilisation or culture in Tamriel. It will probably be the most elaborate out of all them.

I'm guessing fine silk robes or silky pyjama type clothes. Nothing made of wool or animal skins. Totally different to anything a human would wear. Humans are considered to be unrefined and barbaric in their nature and ways.
