So the other day, I realized I still had the key to Summitmist Manor. I headed to Skingrad to check on the storage options inside. I've found two chests in one bedroom, one chest in another, and 5 grain sacks in the basemant as safe storage. Now the storage is a little too spread out, for true living, but.... if I did so choose, is it possible to live there? Has anyone experienced any problems with storage? The floors are large and open, and would make a great house for displaying my spoils.

Anyone live here? Any unwanted visitors?

I think you can take over the manor after the quest, if you can store your items safely.

yeah I made it a base for some time when I first started the game, as far as I remember the storage is safe for the most part I would not like to say a 100% as it was some time ago, but I can't recall losing anything.

Cool. I tested all containers, and found 8 safe containers. I then re-tested, with a different set of arrows, as I've never heard of anyone using this place as a home. I still have 8 safe containers, so... time to call the movers.

It's amazing what you can find when you test for safe containers. We routinely live in the Chironasium during our University days, with its two beds and nine safe containers.
