Summonable mega fan

Ok so im making an adoring fan that is a summon but he wont talk to me in-game is there a way to make it so i can speak to him?

no I just made it so he had services im trying to figure out if he can provide them while on the go i got the spell to work and he talks now but the services arnt working

I got everything except Buy/sell to work but im assuming this is because of merchant containers?

Well, if a NPC doesn't have anything to sell, IIRC, the merchant menu should appear... But yes, you could try to set him a container...

Of course. The container, when used as a merchant container, is just to store the data which will appear in the merchant menu. If you kill the NPC, you will not get any of the items from the container. It would also be wise to hide the container somewhere, where the player can't get, or to lock it with a key. You see, if the player raids the container, the NPC won't have anything to sell :D

I know But what i meant was will he be able to sell stuff outside of the cell that the container is in? if so how do i make this work?

Yes, it does. Set the container to "Persistent" and then select the target NPC in the render window, and select the container as the NPC's Merchant Container from the Merchant Container tab.

Just a follower. I tried to make it summonable, but unsing Haskill's script as a base proved too difficult at the time :D Haven't tried since.
