Sunday early access question

Post » Thu Mar 27, 2014 7:27 pm

North America (East): 7:00 AM EDT, Sunday March 30th

UK/IE: 12:00 PM WEST, Sunday March 30th

Central Europe: 1:00 PM CEST, Sunday March 30th

Sydney, Australia: 10:00 PM AEDT, Sunday March 30th

Singapore: 7:00 PM SGT, Sunday March 30th

Above we see the openings... Its very understandable very clear.. I will be able to join at 2:00 PM (LOL)

But my question is, at Sunday the time changes and It moves 1 hour frwrd... That means with the current data, the game will be launched 1 hour earlier?

is going to be the aprils fool for those who forget to change the time! We will be 10 level till they log to create their character.

If the time change happens that day it would be at midnight so that would be the time for THAT day. so technically yes an hour earlier if your looking at it from a countdown point of view.

<--Deals with computer and date a lot but its kind of a given.

US time change was on the 9th.

I distinctly remember kvetching loudly at my Swedish friend because my schedule much revolves around a 9 hour time difference, that was suddenly 8, and then 5 for a week...

*headdesk*

So yeah I'm kinda curious abotu that one.

As for your sig, no, it doesn't surprise me, but it's a private unaccredited company, and BBB ratings can be bought, so there's that...

Time changes well before the thing there so I'm going to assume it's a goof and 1pm CET is right regardless of time zone for central Europe.

That is correct and if he is looking at a countdown that says 12hours and his clock hits midnight he is now looking at 1am and it is still 12 hours away. Which is now going to be 1 CET.

1:00 for central europe is 2:00 for eastern europe... I leave in eastern. UK is 12:00 (we have 2 hours difference)

so with the current clock, uk @ 11:00 AM, central at 12:00 pm and eastern @1:00 pm

My condolences, i'd remember that distintly as well.

Haven't bothered to changed the sig cause i'm STILL ticked about the whole Skyrim fiasco(11/11/11 until the last piece of DLC was release in Feb. 12 2013).

So I just spoke with the folks at ESO's FB page and they're going to correct the Thursday/Friday wording and we'll see what it actually ends up as.

They claim Sheogorath had to have done it.

We shall see.

Time changes are being done at nights so Monday will be affected, not Sunday. (Time will change on the night that connects Sunday to Monday)

u have to tell them that..

It will be unfair if they delay 1 hour, because those who have 3 days early access, will earn 1 hour. And many will get angry.

They have to give 1 hour extra to americans also! Because of the flooding... Imagine if millions log into eu servers! Take names, drop the servers.

so... 1 hour for all.

The posted times have a "D" in them (EDT, as opposed to EST) meaning those times all factor in daylight savings time. If you don't plan to set your clocks ahead by Sunday morning, or you live somewhere which does not recognize daylight savings time, then be sure to factor that into your own schedule, or you'll be an hour off.

The period extends from 01:00 UTC on the last Sunday in March until 01:00 UTC on the last Sunday in October each year.

0100 Sunday, so the night between Saturday and Sunday.
