Sunsky color changes when looking up

HI guys,



I am having a weird graphical issue (not critical), but it starts to bother me a little ^^

Everytime I look up to see the sky, the sky color is changing suddenly.

When the crosshair goes above a virtual horizon line (which depends on the sun position) , the color becomes brighter instantly.

I started modding some weeks ago. But I can't remember when the issue appeared (I didn't pay attention to it because it was not very visible with vanilla sky textures)


I have a big mod list, but I don't want to disable every single mod to find where the issue comes from (because everything else seems to work fine, decent FPS, very few CTDs, more than 100 hours of testing).



Some of my findings:


It never happens at night or during a very cloudy weather, so I guess it is related to the sun.


Uninstalling my ENB and Oblivion Reloaded didn't fix it


Uninstalling Atmospheres didn't fix it


Did some search, it seems to be a rare issue, because I found very few similar problem. Maybe related to the sun's HDR disabled by a mod (All Natural ?)


Maybe hardware issue (I have a GTX980ti with latest driver)? Enabling/disabling AA/AF/SSAO had no effect.



If you guys have any idea or encountered the same graphical problem please let me know (:

This is vanilla ingame eyes adaptation, a part of HDR shader which is configurable by weather settings. So find a weather mod that lessens it for your taste. Disabling HDR is not an option since LOD doesn't work properly without it.


Oblivion has eyes adaptation at a subtle level I'd say, in Skyrim they went overboard.

thank you for the answer. I used All Natural and Atmospheres in my mod list, can I configure eye adpation with these mods ?


it seems they can't solve it, weird. Why most other people doesn't have the issue I have ? (maybe they have it but not in the same proportions ?)


The change in colors is very noticeable (from dark/blue to yellow sometimes).


I don't really understand what HDR does ... can I tweak some settings in oblivion.ini to lessen the effect ? (in the [BlurShaderHDR] part ?)

Fixed :) Installed Atmospheres v3, then Atmospheres Heaven and Hell, loaded esp after bashed patch, and, I don't how and why, but issue is gone.
