[RELz, BETA, WIPz, whatever] Super Hotkeys

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 9:08 am

Hi All,

This is a great mod, out of all the mods of this type that I've tested I like this the best.

I was getting the same BEEP noise when pressing ALT+number key as reported earlier by other users and have since fixed it for those that are interested:) I'm using vista 64bit premium but I'd expect this to work on other version of windows..

The beep that you hear is the system beep and it can be disabled with a windows registry edit, be warned! tinkering with your registry if done incorrectly can break your system.

1.Goto START then in the RUN box type "regedit" and hit return
2.Navigate regedit to "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Sound"
3.You will see the BLEEP key and the value to the right of it set to yes, change this to no
4.Close regedit and restart your pc

This will disable all system beeps but in my opinion that's no biggy as its annoying anyway.

:)

Just downloaded this mod, and so far I like it except for one thing. I get screen scroll from the console area everytime I switch weapons useing the hot keys.

From the download page:
version 0.53: fixed issues with hotkeys & horses, allows console messages to be turned off, tweaks to icons and potion-drinker hotkeys and auto-cast hotkeys

Ok, I've read this page, the nexus page, and the read me file ..... how do I turn this off? :embarrass:

Look in the ini file. There's a disable_console_messages or something to change. Probably from 0 to 1. Or maybe from 1 to 0.
