Super Mutant Behemoths?

Any word on the return of behemoths, or some sort of large equivalent, or is that an East Coast thing?

There has been nothing concrete as far as I know, though one of the perk previews did reference behemoths. No word on whether that reference was from the actual game or the article's speculation.

Behemoths are an East Coast super mutant. Therefore they should not be in NV. A regular super mutant grows all the time over its life and thats where the Behemoths come from. They most defiantly will not be in NV.

East Coast mutants never stopped growing, West Coast mutants stopped after they reached 7 or 8 feet tall. So, no.

Enemy lists have been published on other sites from the guide. Super Mutant Behemoths do not make an appearance in New Vegas.

Same, an epic-scale Deathclaw would be pretty badass.

This. I don't know why people want the behemoths back. They were too easy to beat. I mean a dart gun to the legs and you can just sit back and pick them off.

Behemoths aren't part of the life cycle of FEV-1/2 West Coast Muties. Fallout canon said Western Mutants suffered from dementia or insanity as they got older, whereas the the FEV-Vault-87 strain Muties went through mutant, brute, master, overlord, and finally behemoth as they aged.

Fallout canon also says Wanamingos are extinct, and I heard rumors they were put into NV, so aparently canon is a pick and choose system at this point.

The canon says no such thing. It says the only known queen was killed by the Chosen One. It does say they are dying out, but long lived, so they can quite feasibly be in New Vegas. Also, as they are a manufactured lifeform, I can see lots of ways to reintroduce them as a major species again.

But by that logic a Super Mutant from the West Coast COULD become a behemoth as we dont know how old a behemoth has to be to reach that size, So if a super mutant is over 100 some odd years old since its dipping, it COULD become a behemoth as faras we know.

And B. My point is this, both what you said and what I said would just be cheap fan service if they just randomly reintroduce these creatures.

Super Mutant Behemoths are not in this game sadly. But there is something called a Legendary Deathclaw which I assume will be taking the behemoth's place.

I'd be surprised if it was as big as a behemoth though, probably at the most it's as big as the behemoths were originally going to be, which is probably half the size they ended up being in F3.

Yeah not quite as big probably but they are going to mean and with ignoring DT like deathclaws do I bet they will be 20 times harder than behemoths were
