I came across an interesting response to an article, last week, that is almost 5 years old. The article was covering the Interplay/Bethesda lawsuit. One reader made a prediction which would have been before the Kotaku's Fallout 4 script hit the internet. Amazingly, it stated Fallout 4 would start prewar and you along with your mom and dad rush to the vault then placed in cryogenic sleep. The mother doesn't survive and your father wakes 5-8 years before you. He also predicted the BOS in Boston and they are there to convoy Super Mutants to the Institute. They are paying good money to research the SMs. He stated some of the SM rebelled and were set free and could be found across the Commonwealth.( This paying for Super Mutants, enslaving them and sending them East was also in Van Buren.) After reading this I recalled at the end of Broken Steel you are able to collect SM blood samples for cash and Dr Li leaves for the Commonwealth. I also remembered how Tobar was collecting brain tissue....just food for thought.

Very interesting indeed! I wonder if the commonwealth is aware of the different forms of super mutant's? (Nightkin, Capital wasteland variant). If you watch the trailer's, its safe to say that these SM's are of the smaller version's from mariposa, which are also in fact more intelligent. If my lore is right, I expect these mutant's to have more functions with social structure's and use of their environment, instead of "ugh *grunt* me smash!" from DC.

The guy that made this prediction was spot on with Boston, prewar, Cryogenic vault and the family. Even if it turns out that the BOS isnt capturing SMs for research at the Institute, there has to be a back story of why the SMs are in Boston. I don't think migration is going to cut it.

I LOVE the theory that Tobar was collecting brain matter to supplement The Institute with samples of brain-tissue for the possible use of study and / or cloning for the creation of synthetic android brain-tissue

I always thought Tobar was a Psycho freak fetishist who collected Brains for a trophy room.

Whatever the reason the super mutant menace is in Boston does not matter. I will lay waste to them with extreme prejudice. Same with the Brotherhood.
