Support Team Doesn't Do Anything!

Post » Wed Feb 05, 2014 4:05 pm

So, I just have to say before this. The support team are extremely nice, and probably the best support team I've ever talked with, BUT they don't help at all!!! My problem is I can't sign up/Create an account, I contacted the email team and they told me how to sign up....Not helping me at all. Then I contacted live support and they at least attempted to help by asking if I cleared my cache, cookies, different browser, etc. They said that I would get an email, so I waited about 2 weeks nothing, contacted them again, same thing happened. Waited a week and NOTHING. This happened 4 TIMES!!!! I don't know what to do now since I'm not getting any help by the support team. Can anybody else not create an account on ESO's site?

Worked fine for me. Not sure what the problem might be that cause your issue unfortunately, but I imagine it's kinda hard to give support for an unfinished beta product.

What exactly is the problem?

I get you can't create an account, but what happens when you try, etc?

Are you on a Mac or a PC?

Try disabling anti-virus stuff?

You're not on a Uni/College network are you? sometimes the admins block access, a friend of mine had that problem when he was living in the Uni dorm, he couldn't even buy anything on Amazon or Ebay, and he had the same trouble as you registering for a beta.

The problem vanished when he moved out of the dorm into a rented apartment.

This would be my next guess, some sort of network block maybe. If this ends being the case and you don't want to move, I suggest you find a trusted person to create you an account off-campus.

Though you might be screwed when it comes down to actually playing, too. :\

I had problems with the CAPTCHA showing correctly, it corrected after refreshing several times. It may be worth trying manually adding the website to your internet options/privacy/sites, and security trusted sites, if you have tried already.

Nope, at my house. None of PCs in my house can create one either. Only the sign up page is broken, rest of the site works perfectly.

Maybe try calling your isp? If it's not an issue on their end, they might be able to help diagnose where the issue is occurring :x

I have found that when nothing else helps, you sometime are able to log in using the browser on your phone. I didn't have any problem with this particular log in, but it has worked in the past with other sites.

I have also called my isp, they had no issues/or any clue how to fix.

Try a phone or have someone make your account for you, or do it at a friend/family members house, etc.

Trust me, once you get the launcher installed and your account setup, you won't need to figure it out or go back there again until launch day most likely. I don't think I've gone back to the account page a single time since July.
