My main PC has now reached lvl 86. He finished the MQ with the RR, and he is a stealth sniper type character. It had been a long while since I had a difficult battle and actually died even on VH difficulty. But last night I was testing out a new legendary hunting rifle I had obtained and went to Saugus Iron Works building. It had been a while since I had been there and I knew the Forged would of re-spawned by now. Deacon and I made quick work of the Forged. Then I remembered the Gunner base next door and hadn't been there yet with this PC. So we pick a couple off of the elevated freeway when a hell of battle breaks out. I died 3 times to Bridget and her Fatman because Deacon kept blowing our cover. I finally had to dismiss him and tactically take out the Gunner camp. It was refreshing because it had been a while since I had died much less had a difficult fight.

To my surprise I received a notice that one of my non-walled settlements was under attack. I traveled over there and waited for the attack to begin. It was at least 20 charred feral ghouls. Which turned out to be quite the fight as well. I had to dance around and use some radaway and stimpacks during the fight.

A Super Mutant attack on the Slog. Two were using missles which flew into the front door way killing half of my settlers. Reloaded with a different save and planned differently. Was a fun battle.
