Survival mode beta has been announced. Releasing next week on steam. Glad I held off starting a new game with the new dlc.
It will be interesting to see what has changed from what was leaked to the current beta.
My thread beat yours by ONE minute.
So I win.
thanks
Ha, but mine launches a discussion about leaked vs beta content. Yours is just has a statement about wanting threads to end. So I win.
edit: I can't be the only one curious to see if the uproar over the various fast travel and save changes altered their plans. Or if stick to their guns and beta test those changes on us pc users.
Right. I just wanted discussion to end LOL

Steam beta. This makes me sad, as a PS4 player this upsets me greatly because PS4 (and Xbox One) gets QA'd by dedicated tester teams from Sony/Microsoft, so I can't test it prior to everyone else.
Noice, I can finally get back into Fallout 4. The moment I heard about the overhaul I stopped playing completely, with the only thing i did in the game was make a new character.
Well considering they recieve the regular free update betas before consoles I didn't think we'd get them to be honest. If it's anything like the other patches it should roll out the week after and then to consoles a week after that
So based on previous betas,
what are we talking now, c. 3-4 weeks to console launch?
12-19th April?
How did the game become not fun for you? I only ask because I'm having a blast with it still and I'm curious what made it not fun for you?
I'd think 12th with the 26th being Wasteland Workshop
I'm curious to try it though I feel I won't enjoy it. The NV "hardcoe" just felt like an eating and sleeping sim, pulling me away from enjoying the actual game
I doubt you'll need a code. When they first announced the survival overhaul it was said it will probably be in open beta approximately a month before release.
I have the same thing done, only using a Ryan Reynolds look alike character. That and I have mods to make Cait into a Triss look alike and Curie into Yennifer. Not even played witcher series of game. The remodel job just looks nice. Oh and Piper into Lara Croft look alike. Other then that, my game is really really clean, don't want to clutter things up with the kit around the corner.
This thread was also useless tbh...but glad the people know now and can stop whining.
I don't think that the addition of hardcoe will help or improve the game in any form other than modders down the line. I can't be bothered to load up my save game without feeling drowsy after 5-10 minutes.
Wow so edgy
I doubt anything would save the game for you then. Better to move on, guy I've never seen before. You will be missed?
Ditto, did the same, started new character and went to Concord then took a break...
If people can make 30 threads asking about it, we can make at least half that talking about them announcing it.
Google, slang edgy. It'd explain what he is trying to say.
edit: Personally, I am more or less agreed with you about the difficulty of the base game. I have had to limit what legendary items I use, and what perks I pick up. Along with playing with 1 endurance. Once the kit comes out I can be a wee bit more free with how I build my character. I want to increase critter numbers by 2-3 times vanilla. Simply upping the level of the spawns doesn't help much, already tried ones that up starting level spawns by 10+ levels. (And glowing sea starting at level 70 minimum regardless of player level)
I know what he meant, but I wasn't trying to come off as disdainful. I'm just wondering why Bethesda did not include hardcoe from the start of Fallout 4's development. It was a feature that was certainly well received in New Vegas yet they waited for a sort of backlash to then backpedal on it. They probably felt since it wasn't something they had originally included in Fallout 3 then it perhaps had no business being in Fallout 4? For me not having hardcoe on the first play through brought the game down from this sort of role-playing survival horror-ish experience to just a simple shooter, but that's just my thought.
