Some "fans" made it so that mods are disabled wtf
I plan to start a new character once it makes it to Xbox. I have a level 50+ character I use when I just want to run and gun, I'm glad this new mode sounds like it will take forethought to get through. Any info on how much weight is given to ammo??
Don't know if this was already added or is new with survival, but I just noticed that the game remembers how many bullets you had in each of your guns when you switch to another one, so you can't just just quick-switch to another weapon and back for instant reloads.
I think that was in the last patch because I noticed this too on my Xbox version the other night, and the new mode is not available to us yet.
Ah ok, haven't played in a month to wait for survival so I didn't notice before.
so what kind of new changes are there that werent "advertised?"
They were disabled because Beth would prefer feedback from people who do not use mods.
This is beta, not release or early access. People often forget that.
Just one example: empty bottles can now be filled to create either a purified or dirty water depending on the source. And both have their uses.
As I understand it, there IS a bedroll (whether or not this is an actual item with a carry weight, I don't know,) there's just no bonuses to using it over a bonafide mattress. Also, it's more of a "can't save in combat" thing at that point.
My game has not crashed once... And it′s not a state of the art computer, quite the opposite really... So do you use mods or is it graphics driver that′s bugging out?
Doesn't make much sense to BETA TEST with mods enabled, does it? What kind of feedback would that give. Besides they have made so many changes both to UI, and god knows what, you would not know what the mods overwrite.
I haven't seen it yet. Have seen other things not talked about, like being able to fill empty bottles with water. I would not rule anything out. If you start the game anew, there are tutorial messages during gameplay about Survival mode.
Sure let's use slang for mental retardation because you can't understand a simple concept. Pretty ironic.
has anything changed in terms of spawns of loot and enemies?
Seriously? My experience is polar opposite so far. Radroaches barely attacked me and my damage makes me feel like I'm playing on Easy/Average. I'm not complaining about that though, because it'll probably be a different experience with higher level enemies.
I've only ever had a handful of crashes in around 400 hours of gameplay.
Couple questions
Can we get some examples of diseases and their effects?
Are there grades of hunger/thirst/exhaustion like FNV or something else?
Are any perks significantly changed (e.g., Strong Back) or that have had values changed?
Is there significant ammo or aid item scarcity?
How do stimpaks work with crippled limbs?
Take your own advice, guy. You add nothing intelligent to any conversation.
