Survival mode character builds?

I'm planning on restarting my character that I beat the MQ with. As to a 'survival mode' build, well.. I'm sure she'll become effective eventually anyway. It's kind of a nice idea starting out weaker in a mode like that, anyway.

I wonder how the Deathclaw encounter in the start will look with that, though. We'll have Power Armor and a minigun and do more damage to it, but.. it'll kill us in probably one hit at the level we're at anyway.

It's interesting to see different ideas I never thought of. Using Perks like Idiot Savant and Lead Belly will probably be very useful in Survival, and the more I think about it, the more it seems obvious that smart use of VATS will probably be essential.

Yeah, me too ??

I'll do the same for that as I did on regular Survival difficulty. Drop from the roof top, head into the shop opposite and start blasting all my ammo into its face while it gets stuck on a window.

I do something similar, stand on the balcony of the building near where it first appears, as it can't damage you when standing there unless you get too close to the edge, that tactic will be even more important in the new Survival mode if it truly is as easy to be killed as they have claimed.

Not sure I will have the bravery to go melee in the new mode, will probably take the safer vats build route and go luck heavy for the critical perks.
