Survival Mods?

I like IMCN, but it never was balanced for my Realism Tweaks. But the bigger problem has always been the sheer amount of mods/patches necessary. When I used RI/PN + RiPnO +BLTC + IMCN, it required 2 esms, plus 12 esps, plus my own patch. My module will NEVER be that complex, but it will be balanced for my Tweaks and it will be one or two esps (and probably a GOTY patch), which a user can select (or not) when they install my Realism Tweaks. My new module will likely remain totally optional. That way everyone who uses my Tweaks can use whatever Injuries and/or Needs mods they want. I'm making this module for myself, because I wanted to see if I could come up with a better Injury mod ("better", as in closer to my own vision of what one should be), that would be totally balanced for my Tweaks.

My needs system will likely be closer to Primary Needs. You'll need to sleep a certain amount of hours, and consume a certain amount of food, and drink a certain amount of water. At this point I don't know how complex I'm going to be making the Needs part . . . my focus at this point has been almost entirely on the Injury part.

If that's the case, it might be a good idea for me to make a compatibility patch like I've done with RiPnO and FWE, though I'd probably try to mesh the two needs mods rather than disabling one entirely. I'm not sure if I'll be able to keep up with you though, you do update pretty frequently. Regarding balance, I think IMCN's penalties and bonuses are probably too large given the reduced stats that come along with ART, but beyond that I'm not really sure what should be done differently.

No offense to orfevs or anone else. But if you can deal with the RipNo being pretty lengthy despite being file small. You will have a pretty well rounded survival system. The only thing I would recomend though, if using it. That you use the version before Orfevs decided to come on back recently. This is because it was the most stable at that time when he left. Plus, the newer stuff is trying to keep up with newer mods like Martigens RC6 which if I am to understand, Has a number of problems at the moment. For kicks I also think until RC6 can be patched up. I grabbed RATS and Iguanas separate. =)

@WackaMacka - I totally agree with you about what you said about the MMM RC6 and the patches for other mods with it. I know there were some issues with MMM and FWE, but that team seemed to squash those bugs. Personally I am waiting for the Official Patch made by MMM. Once I see that patch out, then I will wait for the Modders that make their mods compatible with MMM, to work on the final compatibility patch :)
