Your opinions on what clothing this type of character would wear?

Anything that reminds you of "rags". The outfit Veronica starts with is pretty nice, although I don't know if it can be acquired for player.

Bright brotherhood robes are quite similar to Veronica's scribe robes

I mean the "Oasis" style robes made of some green material, maybe leaves or something.

I suppose you could wear the http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Desert_Ranger_combat_armor from http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Honest_Hearts. But that's taking things into a literal sense since the character who used said armor was called the "http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Randall_Clark"

Any duster: sheriff, bounty hunter, generic versions.
other then that the gecko-backed armor, any type.

Can't imagine rags - a Survivalist would be wanting real armour! I mean, he wants to survive, right? When I think Survivalist I think DnD style ranger.
I imagine leather armour - protective, but light, easy to move in and easy to repair. Perhaps ranger armour later on.
