so I upped my difficulty to very hard and started blasting at the strip

still feel pretty invincible am able to get decapitations from across the strip with 1% chance of success I don't even have a high luck its only 4

securitrons take a lot of bullets but then again veronica just wipes them away in 1-2 hits useing the "oh baby" super sledge i found

after everything i saw was dead i was only down to 19/24 of both auto inject stimpacts and auto inject super stimpacts

and still had like 90 normal stimpact and 50 super stimpacts


id keep my game on very hard but i went from 1.5k rounds on y assault carb to 824 rounds just clearing out the strip

eventually i got bored bought a fat man and launched nukes on my self

Well, the folks over at the Strip aren't exactly death dealing monstrocities. They wear suits and use .22s and sawed offs

Just out of curiosity, which Securitrons were you dealing with? Mark 1 or Mark 2?

One time on a Legion char, I didn't use any meds so I couldn't use stimpaks but I didn't have any hydra or anything on me and I went inside the Tops and everyone started unloading .22SMG rounds into me, and my torso got crippled. There was like, 5 guys in suits unloading on me while I was decked out in Centurion Armor. It wasn't hurting much. However, they kept hitting my torso and they had me stun locked and I eventually died since I couldn't move or access my pip boy. I was so furious. From that point on, I made it a note to carry projectiles when I use melee or unarmed

He must mean out of VATS?

Whether or not they were Mark 1 or Mark 2 Securitrons were a huge difference. If you want a real challenge then try playing on Very Hard from the beginning, or try it in Deadwind Cavern or the Deathclaw Promontory. If you don't have it on then try hardcoe mode.

Edit: Veronica and Oh Baby is not a very good combo. Her tagged skill is Unarmed, she'll be far more effective with a Ballistic Fist or Embrace of the Mantis King.
