Never mind Stormcloaks vs Imperials....Never mind Greybeards vs Blades....This is the true issue of Skyrim.

If I do it then I mostly help Faendal because free archery training.
My 1 elf hater obviously helped Sven.
Most of my characters never go to Riverwood.

Faendal is the most useful.

The funny part is...they both never get her anyway.

One character I made married her just cause.

I don't like either one of them. Also she came onto my dunmer male, in spite of having these other two competing for her attention. Bit of a tramp I say.

I normally choose Faendal because of the free Archery Skills. He can be a decent follower, as well.

Faendal is 637094x cooler.

Kill Camilla and break both of them.

Sven is a bit of a racist jerk, so Faendal is the obvious choice.

Faendal, good follower for lower levels

Faendal, because of usefulness. But if I help him I usually do the quest "the other way around": That is, I offer to help Sven, then my character reads the letter, decides that Sven's an idiot, tells Camilla about Sven's little scheme, which means that she also will tell a very grateful Faendal about it.

Faendal, because he was the first one to tell me about his scheme. i had him as a follower after that, and i think he was the first important NPC that i killed. we were entering a cave or lockpicking something. cant remember and he turned on me, since he' so "moral" so i just killed him.
