Swallowing pills.

Wait a minute. It's been damn near three hours, and you still haven't swallowed that pill? WTF?

Yeh, I start again on the weekend.

Suppositories aren't that bad. A stomach pump, for instance, is much more painful and invasive.

When the alternative can be swallowing a small pill, Suppositories are horrendous. :P

Wow. Man up and swallow!

I take NINE pills before working out (Animal Pump, various vitamins and a stimulant for training), and 2 pills in the morning (multivitamins and vitamin c).

So yeah, man up. Sheesh!

Put in mouth. Swallow glass of water.

9 workout pills?! Do you even need that many?! Some pre-workout whey and post-workout casein is enough, man. If you're really bulking up then you might add Creatin (though I personally wouldn't recommend it) and some Glutamin, but that's only if you're planning on becoming a professional body builder or something. The protein supplements in addition to a balanced diet is pretty much all you need.

The pump lasts longer and it's a slow releasing matrix which helps you get through longer workouts. It comes in 9 pills per packet.

Although now (as in, from this week) I started using http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/univ/shock.html, which gives you a kick. Really puts me in focus and helps me push more reps. It comes in powder form. I don't plan to become a professional BBer, however I do plan to become big. http://imagecdn.bodybuilding.com/img/user_images/growable/2009/03/26/515905/profilepic/3875482orig.jpg. Small picture but you get the idea. Hopefully with bigger legs.

My supplements:
Vit C
Multivits (I would take these 2 regardless if I work out or not)
Creatine
Whey protein
Preworkout booster

I love trying out new supplements every couple of months. These last me for 3 months or so.

I've been threatened by that more than one... *shivers* :(

I still don't get what's so hard or so frightening about swallowing a pill... Can you please explain to me why this is so hard for you? It sounds like you have more of an issue swallowing pills than just this one acme medication one.

You know rubbing alcohol works with pimples, I use Rubbing Alcohol 70% by volume it clears them right up. All those acne creams and face washes never worked for me. Then my grandma told me that in the olden days doctors used to have people with fevers take rubbing alcohol baths. I was sick with a fever and I wiped my face with rubbing alcohol and it cooled me down then my pimples cleared up a few days later! I've been using it ever since. When you read the ingredients for those acne washes they all state they have alcohol in them. May be worth a try if you are really scared of pills.

A strong gag reflex can make it difficult and often unpleasant. It's possible to get used to it somewhat, but it's never especially entertaining.

I desperately need help to swallow pills.

I currently need to take 2 pills a day for a month. The pills are about the size and shape of a peanut m&m. So far I've been unsuccessful in swallowing one.

I really need to swallow these pills, but I just can't. I gag every time. Help!

The pills are for acne.

If they can be taken with food, put in bowl of applesauce. No need to chew.
I take 12 pills a day (including four vitamin supplements), plus injections. Make sure to read the enclosed prescription informations, certain foods or other medications can decrease, nullify, or increase levels of the medication. They can also cause side effects, reactions, and complications.

I have to take something like 5-6 pills every day, three at least. Be glad you only have to take two. <_<

As others have said, I recommend putting the pill on your tongue and drinking a glass of water all in one go. The pill will go down with the water.

When I was little I couldn't swallow pills with water either. So we put in a spoonful of applesauce and that worked first try.

I have these awful painkillers that have no nice coating to make 'em go down easier, also the edges are pretty much sharp. The best method for me, is to take them with milk. Since this is recommended with codeine, that's a no brainer, but it also makes the pill g down way easier. I'm guessing it's something to do with the fact that milk is thicker than water, I dunno. Stops 'em getting stuck to my tongue/throat and not going down properly. Also take the biggest chug you can with the pill, then drink non-stop as much as possible.

Though, if your problem is purely psychological, I'd suggets just pretending that they ARE peanut m n ms, might make the whole pill taking thing less weird.

I use milk, also, or coffee. I hardly ever use water, as it seems to make it harder to swallow. But once they're down, I will follow up with water.

Raise your left arm in the air above your head - makes taking tablets easier. :)

I was on tablets for 3 times a day for 3 months to top up my immune system (because despite being immune to tuberculosis and not needing the vaccine, they decided that tehy would give me pills instead, just in case I wasn't immune enough).

I can pop pills without water now, I did it so often that practise makes it easy. Just chuck it down your throat, like eating massive peas.
