Really atmospheric piece i like how the car parts the human creations have blended in with the nature with the trees! The swamp itself I can almost feel the vibe of the place calling me.Really nice tree overlaps in background, well done
sweet, somehow feels like wanamingos would thrive there
many small places to hide in (cars, under tree roots), kinda dark, moist (it feels like they would thrive in moist places like the tanker ^^) and probably lots of smaller animals they can feed off.
That looks like my first car. Man I beat that thing to hell. Great look on this, I like it. Fallout Online Forum - Fan Based Community http://www.FalloutOnlineForum.com
Looks like the lights are being powered by the fusion cell inside the car. Very intuitive I told the Overseer of Vault 13 I'd give everything to save everyone, and so I did, I saved them all. Since then I've felt loneliness.
Nice bit o' swamp there. I too like how it looks like the partially submerged car is the powersource for the lights. The walkway made of junk is a nice touch as well. A good dark and gritty feel from this piece IMO.
It's your call, but I would think even an irraditated swamp would be a bit more green and not so brown. I can't see chlorophyll being replaced by something else just because of background radiation. Just my two cents Why do games studios have to fight and die? War, war never changes : (
When I read "Swamp" I was concerned... Surely a swamp has no place in a wasteland? But this looks outstanding. The trash everywhere really turns me on to it.
Define wasteland. A lot of definitions just mean areas of no economic value/apparent value to humans. That could include swamps. Also, swamps are defined by water stagnation, not plant life. It's kind of been established that the water cycle still runs post-nukes, even if catchments and retention are modified by a lack of a vegetation. Why do games studios have to fight and die? Point Lookout comes to mind but not as creepy, seeing the walk way makes it look like like there is people or a civilization living there but either way its very Fallout which is always a plus!
