what was your reaction at swampy cave ...fighters guild quest ...did you meet the three will-o-wisps before your time or did you kill them ...i hope i wasn't the only one that thought i was tough enough to deal with them and learned my place before i went in

M'aiq does not like the Swampy Cave, it is a terrible place to go. would want to go in a cave let alone a cave with a swamp in it? are there any calipers in this said cave??

thats why no one replies...i don't think there are any calipers...and if there is this isn't the time...i know some places in the guilds to get calipers...nothing here is free...i never let anyone die if that makes you feel better...but i hate it when they get in my way and say..i'm on your side...not in this cave...but others.....i'm glad they dont have a game that we can play together...i would never win..my friends would get on my nerves...i only like orcs...i think they are hot...lol....my friend..now go kick some ass grunt.....:)

It's been awihle, but I think the first time I did that quest I wound up running all the way up to that little hamlet at the top of the hill, so the farmers would have to deal with those dreadful creatures! :shakehead: Then I think I ran to Cheydinhal and probably into the city itself! Bethesda created will o'wisps pretty much like they appear in D&D, so after reading my ancient D&D manual, I learned that normal weapons can't harm them...

The next time I did that quest, I made sure to come prepared. Detect Life ring! Magical sword. If you have this stuff, all that's needed is to run around a lot and dodge 'em. Let them approach you and hit them with the sword! :touched:

First time I ran into a will o the wisp was outside layawiin, I wasn't winning that fight till a legion horseman showed up and got killed conveniently allowing me to loot his sword and actually damage the wisp. Directly after that I got the swampy cave quest found it rather easy since my character switched from using destruction magic to sword as primary weapon at that point cause my mana pool was rather small.

Fortunately Ulfgar the Unstable had found a good Staff with Fire damage that kills those pesky Will-O-The-Wisps in three shots. They never had a chance to get near him.
