Swear words in Skyrim

Post » Tue Dec 13, 2011 2:32 pm

I know it's an M-rated game, which has me wondering........I've only seen ONE actual *naughty* word in this game. I actually happened upon it while reading a letter down in the Thieves Guild. Have you guys seen or heard any strong language in this game at all? I'm surprised there's not more, since the people are obviously going through rough times and there's creatures lurking about...

It's there. It's just not over-the-top. there are also lore-friendly profanities.

I don't think swear words really belong in a fantasy game like Skyrim. In my opinion it kills some of the game's charm, and really doesn't add maturity - unless we're talking about a 13 year old's idea of maturity.

Made up slurs and insults that are unique to Tamriel are much better.
