Is there like a lot of swearing in Brink?

Its rated teen, and no, not that we heard of.

Most likley it will stay as no swearing.

Teen Rating and only a "Language" disclaimer. The farthest I've seen in a T rated game is the S word. In Bad Company 1, it listed a "Strong Language" disclaimer and had the a lot of S words. Uncharted 2 had a few S words and got just a "Language" disclaimer.

Like we have seen in some of the Container City videos.

From what I heard the words

[censored] [censored] [censored] [censored] dike [censored] ass [censored] [censored] crap along with many other swear words will be in Brink

I only heard them shout out things like [censored] and damn, but thats about it. I'm not really paying good enough attention to the words.

So there you have it, I guess. There isn't a TON of swearing in BRINK, but there is enough to make the whole combat situation believable.

The two words that sound the worst together made it through....ha what is this world coming to?

It's not the words that sound bad together that sound bad, it is the actual things that we are speaking of that together become... FUT BUCKING

And trust me, teen games tell nobody nothing. Every kid under ten likes Spyro and Kirby, while every kid over ten likes Black Ops, Grand Theft Auto, (sometimes) Team Fortress 2.

Honestly? Teen ratings don't mean squat in the gaming demographic, just add a few more audio clips that make it a more-viable game. I am pretty sure if I as stuck on a floating island with shotgun blasted arm I wouldn't say "Bullocks, its appears that gentlemen with the breech-load, firing object has blown several pieces of metal into my shoulder" it would be more like this "[censored] THAT [censored] HURTS MEDIC!!!!, MEDIC!!! *screaming sounds*"

There is a bit of "language"
it says so at the beginning of the new video, where the big T is.

Ass isn't censored but that-term-which-can-be-used-to-describe-a-donkey is? Seriously? I was always under the impression 'ass' was perceived as being worse than the other word.

Hell, while I make this post, let's see if Hitler (Nazi Leader who attempted to bring about the Third Reich during WWII - in case it actually is ) is censored - I know it is/was on the Gearbox forums.

My friend still hasn't recovered from the first use of *-o in Army of Two. I don't get why swearing is needed, but I find the garbage that comes across the mics more of a problem than a few bad voice actors spouting bad lines.

In one of the Brink Dev Diaries it looks like a resistance character says the "F" word to another resistance character but they where talking over it in the video and you couldn't hear what he was saying. Any way i don't think the f word can be in a game rated T for only "Language".
