Is there any way to redo your character mid-game? (I'm playing as a man,how do I switch to playing as a woman character..without losing my progress in-game?)
(I've seen the cheat code for this,but I'd like to customize my character's appearance as well..is this possible?)

Unless you roleplay you're a transixual, no. You could take the Confirmed Bachelor perk and pretend you're a girl, I guess.
