Sword fighting on the Ark

I plan on buying the game, it looks really boss and the avatar thing is the only issue I have with it. As someone who is going to be making videogames as a career, I'd be a fool not to check out a game that seems to be taking a big step forward in the way FPS are made. I'm anti-Capitalism anyways.
By making their game appeal primarily to men as consumers, they are loosing possible income. You'd be surprised how many women play shooters.

All sarcasm aside.

I do actually wish there were females in the game. SD a design philosophy: if you can't do it right don't do it. It takes a lot more than adding wider hips and t!ts to an avatar to make it female.

doubt they will loose income, 90%+ of the players are gonna be male, why would you not appeal to the largest part of the community your trying to attract?

Has anyone ever seen a screenshot (or hell, concept art) of a female on the ark? It seems like along with all the gun battles, there would be an awful lot of sword fighting going on.
Now iirc females weren't included because they didn't have the room. My question to the community is if they would be interested in a dlc pack that did nothing more than add female models into the game, it would include all the customization options (or more) of the males and add unique voices and clothing options for the characters.

Um, what does sword fighting have to do with women? Women can easily handle weapons, my girlfriend loves to shoot guns so, what's your reasoning? Sorry if I sound like an ass.

Glad someone finally said it here. If someone did before please, correct me.
But seriously, what he said. This should really be the main argument here.

Edit @ TheUltimateAnger:
Sword Fighting = pole fighting = no women on the ark

They'd have to make some pretty disgusting looking females to fit in the male hitbox design, otherwise everyone would be female to be a harder target to hit.

So basically you're saying they're just sixist, and thats okay because so are the creators of other games that people play.
COD is sixist.

Battlefield is sixist.

Doom is sixist.

Duke Nukem is sixist.

Meh, I wanted to add that.

Glad someone finally said it here. If someone did before please, correct me.

Only a few times in all the other threads about the same topic. ;)

Duke Nukem is sixist.

That isn't because there are no playable 'females' I'd say...
Possibly the strippers..

Just think of a heavy class girl

Also some male items would have to be filtered out for girls, half of them have almost all skin and this game is

Females are not in this game for balance reasons and the time it would take to do proper balancing of the female body types. They are looking into adding them at a later date but nobody is sure if they will this time around. If not maybe it will be done in a future game by SD.

There are ever increasing numbers of females/women/gals/and yes, even chicks, who play shooters and enjoy them very much. To ignore that completely would be to ignore a great many potential customers.

Which btw, sixist remarks on this forum also runs off potential customers and won't be tolerated.

I am closing this thread before anymore sixist remarks can be made and my blood pressure shoots to the moon and my ban finger starts it's uncontrollable twitching.

I give SD credit for paying attention to the issue of females wanting some female avatars and thus I will be getting this game and playing it. Had they flat said "female avy's don't matter and who cares what a bunch of females want...I would leave it at the store. Many are with me on that issue.

Such a shame that each and every time it comes up on this forum so many male members jump on "barbie" and "Sims" crap because really, how rude to insensate women are so shallow.
