Is anyone else disappointed that the sword of Shiv is basically a Lightsabre?

Apart from the hilt the blade of blue, see thru glowing light is ripped out of Star Wars.

When I got it last night I was like whoah and then felt a bit disapointed that they would introduce elements of scifi.

It kind of breaks the fantasy for me.

Just saying.

Does it make whummm whummm noises? Does it slice through enemies instead of doing damage?

Is the only comparison that it 'glows blue'? I don't know, but my first impression is that the comparison is tenuous.

Yep the noise is the same and the blue see thru tube like blade is a clear rip off.

Science fiction and fantasy are essentially one another...? They go hand in hand. there's very little difference between them. to an extent, TES could be said to have elements of steampunk scifi

No its a clear blue tube of light. Hence.... it looks like a lightsabre.

Well, then I guess it's a little bit of a reference to both.

Where do you get it? I looked up "Sword of Shiv" on every Skyrim resource site out there and didn't get a hit.

I can't find this sword of shiv on UESP or skyrim wiki, Where is it located in game and can anybody link an info page for it?
