I was wondering if I could bring Sydney with me in the Lookout part, I know the followers can't, they are going back somewhere in the wasteland, but what about Sydney?

Well I traveled to Point Lookout and out of the boat, she wasn't there, so I figure, she went back to the National Archives.... but No, I fast travel to a different location and there she is!

Yes, the temporary followers can go with you into the DLCs. They're not subject to the auto-firing that handles the official companions. I like to take Sticky with me to The Pitt.
