Been playing on the consoles since I was a little kid, so consoles are in my heart - sounds whack, but yeah

I like to sit in my bed and play the game, I love the feeling of having a controller in my hand, and my TV is bigger than my monitor :P

Considering getting it for the PC too.. But that might be some time after release

I have a 360, not a PS3.

Can anyone name a game that the system requirements are similar to?

Fair enough.

I'd say go for whatever system you use the most, are most comfortable with, or have the most friends playing BRINK.

Only in selected games such as metro 2033 and and battlefield 3 and some racing game i forget the name of, we wont see dx11 as standard for some time, as ppl are still clinging to MS XP as an OS, ergo holding the developement and use of dx10 back by a few years and dx11 even longer.

IMO fps games just belong on the PC.. i do have a PS3 but prefer gaming on a PC:

- better graphics, more fps, wider FOV, etc
- ability to play a game, browse the internet, watch videos/porm, and chat with your friend simultaneously.
- more game options, tweaking and customization
- dedicated game servers (lower latency, smooth gameplay)
- easier to apply patches/update game files automatically
- more community supported content (maps, etc)

.. just to name a few.

ps3 must have screwed that up then because the xbox has that perfected to the point it's my arguement against pc play

essentially you start the game and it patches itself to the current version, you start the console and it patches itself to the current version. it's thoroughly painless and it's never caused flow on problems...pc's can never achieve that as there is no governing body to control patches and make sure they dont break other functions.

ie installing a soundblaster into a soundmax based motherboard. killed a majority of my games and i spent weeks trying to get stalker crysis unreal 3 and numerous others working again.

PC simply because aiming with a mouse is much easier than using a controller. Plus more settings can be changed via the console (hopefully).
And the fact that it is $10 cheaper doesn't hurt

There's a lesson to be learnt there :D

I'd go PC every day of the week. Probably something to do with not owning a xbox or PS3 :D

Considering this is a Steam exclusive on PC there is in fact a governing to control patches, make sure they don't break functions, and it patches PC games when you start up Steam.

This is a problem for me. If I get it for the 360 I get to play on a 72" plasma screen. If I got it on my laptop, a mere 17".

Im going 360 because my computer is in storage and there is something about a controller that just feels right to me. Also the last FPS I played hardcoe on PC was Team Fortress back in the day. Now the only games I play on it are WoW (until reciently when I canceled my account) and Rift when ever I get it out of storage.

I say 360. Nothing against PC or PS3. I just love my 360 for gaming. the controller feels great and you have a nice big screen tv.

Go for the Xbox, then. I'm going to put away my PC pride for a moment here, because while PC is the best experience you can have with any game, that's cut short if you have a laptop, since they're so much smaller, so much weaker, and generally not for gaming.

I change my vote to Xbox.
