I find it odd my old 2.2/2.4 GHZ Computer with a Videocard Halve this one's power could play it better

Actually, I beg to differ on that claim.

Your GPU's dedicated memory is very low (I'm no expert on ATI's numbering, though, so that's all I can tell), and your processor is ancient. You also don't have very much RAM, and that coupled with Vista means you have very little left over for your games.

You're going to need a new system if you want to max this game. At the very least a new GPU with at least double the dedicated vRAM and about 2GB more regular RAM.

Clock speed doesnt matter when comparing different architecture. A 3.0Ghz Pentium is killed by a 2.4Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo. The RAM is fairly limited as well, especially when running vista. The GPU is really starting to show its age coming in near the performance of an Nvidia 8600GTS. You will really need a new PC if you plan to run the game on high.

The game can be ran on high even with that CPU if you set your resolution to something like 1280x1024 (1440x900 widescreen). The X1950Pro was a good card for its time and was commonly used by many here in the past.
