I've logged countless ours of Skyrim since release date and have played around with numerous mods. One of my favorites is Cloaks of Skyrim. I have been using a basic scale cloak for quite some time but just recently decided to look into making some new ones. What I found surprised me. I had no idea that there was a spinning wheel that would allow you to make more high-quality cloaks and capes. I absolutely love the black fabric cape that I made the other day but this left me wondering. What else can you do?

Is there any kind of guide for how to tailor cloaks with this mod? I know there's a book you can make that discusses it and admittedly, I've not read it (in-game). What I'd really like is a long, black cape without the hood that draqes down. Is it possible to make something like this? What about putting images on the back or lining at the bottom? How far can we go with this? I've looked on YouTube but haven't found any good guides at to how it all works.
