Ok so I got in a little mm cough cough relationship with Mr. Bishop's wife so that I can ask her if she's happy and eventually set the trap at his safe for him. So I got together with her and when it was over she was asleep! I heard the only way this happens is by having really low stats. But I Have 8 Strength 10 Charisma 10 Agility and 4 Endurance. So why did she fall asleep? I need to assassinate him I've wiped every mob boss out in New Reno except him. :gun:

BTW First time I had to ask a question about Fallout 2 on here I thought I was doing pretty well with research. :shrug:

You need the sixpert perk, have six with a lot of people.

She's supposed to fall asleep, it gives you the opportunity to loot the safe in Bishop's room without getting caught. Were she still awake she might follow you there and sound the alarm. She also gives you the combo to her own safe, which always has a good bit of cash in it.

Getting into Bishop's safe without explosives is tricky unless you have a high lockpick skill (I recommend having a set of picks too, just to be on the safe side), and blowing the safe will alert Bishop and his flunkies down the hall.

You get no opportunity to talk to her at all after?

No she just sleeps while sighing my name. I can't get her up without shooting her. I heard that she was your ticket to taking out Bishop. I read this on the Fallout 2 guide

"The way to assassinate Mr Bishop isn't very obvious. First you have to sleep with Mrs Bishop. In bed, ask her about her husband, ask her if they love each other, then about Mr Bishop's "other pursuits". You'll now get the option to ask if she wants you to kill him. With Traps 76% you can suggest an "accident", and Mrs Bishop then tells you about the trap on Mr Bishop's safe. Use Repair (again you need 76%) on the safe to change the combination. Go downstairs and wait 10 minutes with your Pipboy and you'll hear a boom from upstairs, which may kill Mr Bishop - at other times I've seen it do only 1 point of damage to him. You get no xp for this, though. If you already disarmed the trap, the game will tell you to replace it before you can change the combination. Attempting to do so will crash the game, however. The solution to this is to go to the basemant (changing maps) and return, whereupon the trap will be re-armed."

I have the correct repair and traps skill. All I need is for the stupid girl to actually wake up. My stats are Str 8 End 4 and Ag 10. So how the crap is she asleep if I have sixpert, Gigolo, and those stats? It just doesn't make sense.

You need to have high trap skills (somewhere around 65) in order to get the option of coming up with the idea of installing a trap on Bishop's safe.

Are you sure you're sleeping with Mrs Bishop and not Angela Bishop? (The daughter)
