I tried something I sow on reddit/r/gaming which was a guy taking over a Raider's Power Armor by taking out his/her Fusion Core out and then killing the Raider.

HOWEVER!

When I did the same thing the Fusion Core was in red text saying "steal".

Wait what!?

Made me go WTF/WTH.

Anyway. I got the guy out, killed him, tok the Power Armor home, Costworth (The Robot beep boop) sow me take the Fusion Core out and hated me because he sow me take out a "stolen" Fusion Core from a "stolen" Power Armor? Sorry what?

If you kill the guy/girl with the Power Armor, you lose the possibility to have a Power Armor frame yet you can take (<---- not stealing) his/her Power Armor parts.

This doesn't make sense, at all.

So by hijacking a Raider with Power Armor, who is hostile, who is a killer/rapist/raider/blablabla, is stealing?

Why is this stealing?

I didn't even know you can take the frame this way. Do you have to be sneaky sneaky or can you run up and grab the core from his back?

What you need to do is to pickpock the Raider in the Power Armor, so yeah you need to get up close and sneaky becky. You got to be good at pickpocketing or save the game close to the Raider so you can try again and again if you fail. If you fail the Raider will know and you can't do it again straight away.

Thanks, I'm not sure my guy is sneaky enough to do this but I'll have to try next time. I killed 3 of them so far. If you're looking for an extra frame there's a small raider camp near a church on the left side of the map south of Red Rocket. It's in a shipping container.

Thank you for the tip. As I said about the "Stolen" Power Armor, everything on it will say "steal" and not "take". So NPC will see it as stealing if you start taking off/out parts from it.
