A tale of two friends

I started a Clint Eastwood character not involved in the main story after getting vengeance with Benny. I made this character a farmer that occupies Wolfhorn Ranch and the nearby farms with Rose of Sharon Cassidy. After putting brahmin, bighorns, plants in respective area and collecting patches after certain days pass by then to sell it for caps. It becomes a whole new game. Instead of killing and robbing the evil of their riches and becoming the greatest (or worst?) raider that wasteland has seen in the quickest amount of time. I'm slowly and steadily increasing profits, growing certain plants to make cap worthy recipes on a camp fire.

If your still looking for a question, consider this. In the long run, is it better to follow the traditional fallout method of killing to obtain the evil riches or become a farmer and steadily become richer?
In the long run, if these two people met in lets say 10 years. Would it be practical to say that the fire died out for the fallout method after everything has been raided and this method only brings forth temporary immoral riches? Wouldn't the farmer have expanded quite a lot to maintain a healthy earning?

That's pretty cool. Something I may try one day. And where do you sell said crops? Novac, Freeside? Also do you use fast travel or do you just treck it on foot?

Sometimes I fast travel if it's getting late for me. I'm a novice with the geck, so I'm trying to renovate the ranch via geck (getting the generator to work, make a shack to produce alcohol, actually make crops come back after it's been picked) while trying to do as much as I can via console commands. Yeah it's a game changer, and made me interested in NV again. To be honest the whole kill and raid bad people lost it's luster after countless hours. This character just wants to settle down :)

This isn't exactly like yours, but my current character has OCD, which manifests itself in many ways. One way is that she hates clutter. Not only will she take/steal all loose items from any ramdom place, but she also tidies up a bit. She methodically goes around and cleans (read = I use the disable command on) the unsightly piles of trash in people's homes and other buildings.

Making the wasteland a cleaner place, one pile at a time. -Gunny out.

And I thought I was weird.

I approve, though.
