Talking friend into buying game

Post » Thu Apr 05, 2012 1:08 am

It's a shame cause we were hooked up in BF3 and this fella not been into the games for long, bf3 was his first online fps and has only had it around 6 weeks to 2 months.
But now i'm done with that i'm gonna get him to go for C2 cause i was saying he'd be a better player for it, he's just been shooting up tanks since the bf3 fail patch and i'm sure is gonna get tired of that soon.
I let him hear the fy71 and ay69 on MP and he knows about warface.
I also let him see SP and he liked the looks of the game.
Just has my old gtx260 right now but the rest is good to go.

If you really want to make *someone* buy the game, I suggest finding the cheapest possible way. Dunno for how much it retails now, but I suggest spending no more than $15.

C2 is really difficult game, especially for guys who haven't played other FPS games before.
Don't make him buy the game just to rage quit.

He'd be on the multi most of the time, he likes to join a server and stay on that server without a break for ages LOL, whereas i like to take short breaks jumping to another server if i not having much fun.
I tried joining a couple of empty servers the other day to see the maps(cause i used to only play crash site i'm not familiar with a few of the maps, but on each occasion folks would join the server and we'd all game on, i'm still very noobish myself and haven't got my loadout and perks setup, just the mouse feel and the graphics are good to go, i have a slightly lower mouse sensitivity these days but by anybody else's standards i'd assume still ridiculously high(i move using the wrist and not sliding mouse halfways across the floor using forearm. : )
Anyways the monitor he uses ain't optimal res and he has no gaming mouse nor keyboard, i'd like him to get a gtx 560 or something, but we likes Kayaking too. we sailed across loch lomond on our very first outing mostly going round in circles.
