When you start a group with your friends is it normal that you can't talk to them? The talking only starts after you've entered in a lobby and if you leave that lobby and go back to the main group menu (where you can select the mode you want to play) then you are able to talk to your friends there.

Is it a bug or am I doing something wrong?

afaik, you cannot talk to your friends in Group/Squad lobby..

That is pretty stupid...? Can't ask them what they want to play, or I have to talk to them on msn or send them a message... But you can after you've entered and left a lobby.

hmmm.. i have to test out that second part..

but it sometimes happens that even though it shows you in the squad lobby, the squad leader could be in a pre game lobby.. this enables you to talk and you join the game directly..
